Hi, my name is Kay, and I am a lace addict. My drug of choice is silk & merino done with nupps.
I’ve realized that I have a thing for nupps, of the shawls that I’ve made for myself they all have nupps (the exception to this is leaves). Of all the shawls that I’ve made and make nupps tend to be involved. I swore at bobbles for the years that I crochet, I swore that I’d never do them in knitting, but nupps are a different story apparently.
I still don’t have any FOs to show for my week off, but I have more rows done on everything. And another WIP.
I have also sworn off beads, but apparently a year has changed my mind. I’m doing this and putting beads in the first and last couple of rows of leaves. This is going to be one of my 10 shawls in 2010 projects. I of course can’t find the colour card that gives the one I found.
And I’m back to work in the morning and it’s midnight, I need to get to bed. Night all!
